Painting class in Spain

Travel to Spain and learn painting techniques (imitating a worn tapestry) at San Antoni de la Murtra, a monastery just outside of Barcelona. This trip will be a mystical/spiritual experience as you would be living in the working catholic monastery and observing the need for silence after hours. Rooms are modest and private with private bath.
Students will learn to create their own tapestry on canvas to take home as well as working on an installation of a painted "tapestry" directly on the wall of the monastery. The installation will reproduce the existing, worn tapestry to recreate the tapestry as it looked new (reference will be the existing tapestry and photos of the original before the colours faded).
This class is open to only 8 students. We will be utilizing Modern Masters products.
